Warrina is a very big part of the community.
In fact, we’re Innisfail’s second largest employer.
So when people say Warrina’s just like family, it’s quite possibly true!
If you’d like to become part of the Warrina family, we’d be more than delighted to hear from you.
Volunteers extend and enrich the delivery of care services that assist residents and their families of Warrina Innisfail.
Volunteering is inclusive and open to all who are willing to work within the principles of the Warrina Innisfail Volunteer Program.
Warrina Innisfail will ensure that volunteers are provided with meaningful activities, treated as co-workers, given effective supervision,
offered full involvement and participation, and are recognised for the work they do.
Volunteers have the opportunity to become involved in a variety of activities ranging from supporting the resident’s activities program
to providing companionship and the more skilled tasks such as assisting residents with their meals.
Volunteers will need to have skills and interests which are relevant to the roles and activities they wish to undertake.
Training, on-the-job coaching and supervision will be provided for those activities that necessitate a certain level of competency.

Warrina Innisfail is a registered charity, not-for-profit aged care facility dedicated to caring for the frail and elderly of our community.
With limited funding from government and ongoing capital works to maintain the quality of our facilities, donations and the gifting of bequests are greatly appreciated and will help us to continue to provide the best quality of care and further improve our services for our residents.
Donations of goods are not always suitable for use at Warrina.
Any donation of goods need to be authorised by the CEO before they are delivered.

Bequests allow supporters of Warrina Innisfail to contribute in a lasting way.
By leaving a bequest, you can make a positive difference to other peoples lives.
It is also a wonderful way for friends and family to remember you through your contribution, however large or small.
You can make your Bequest though your Will, that way determining how Warrina will put your gift to use, such as improving support services or purchasing of medical equipment, the choice is yours.
And please advise us if you have decided to make a Bequest to Warrina, as we would like to be able to personally thank you.
There are a number of ways that Bequests can be made.
Specific Bequests – this may be in the form of a specific amount of money, property, jewellery or shares.
Percentage Bequests – a percentage of your estate 50%, 20%, 10% for Warrina that you desire.
