Student Placements

Warrina Innisfail is committed to supporting members of the community to increase their skills and knowledge through recognised professional development programs.  We regularly offer opportunities to students from tertiary institutions, vocational training providers and secondary schools requiring placement hours in our services.

Too many to thank

This is my third attempt to compliment ALL the staff of Hostel. My problem has been including the names of staff, there was a very long list and they were only the ones I have seen. To the Hostel staff my deepest thanks for the excellent, professional and kind care you have delivered to my husband.

Concert Fun

The concert held in the Nursing Home was very good. The maintenance men looked really good dancing. To the people that organised it, thank you for a good morning. From Nursing Home residents Frank Galipo and Bill Simmonds.

This email is to formally thank you and all your staff for your skill, consideration and empathy in caring for my mother during her time with you all at Warrina. I appreciate all the help and advice you all gave me.  But most importantly, all staff, without exception, who came into contact with my mother, tended to her needs with the utmost professionalism and empathy. My mother enjoyed her stay with you all very much and she really appreciated her interaction with nurses, nursing assistants, cleaners, therapists, admin staff and any others who assisted her.

You all deserve the highest accolades possible. Best wishes and see you all again somewhere, sometime, someday.

Flexi Care Unit received chocolates and a thank you card. Just a little note to you all to say thank you for the kindness and care you showed our wonderful father Les Smith. Although Dad was only with you for around 7 months. All of you played a big part of Dads daily life. It was difficult to watch our father deteriorate over the last year and a half. He was always grateful for what you would do for him. Bernice and I also would like to say a special thanks for assisting us with any query, request or help in relation to dad. Nothing was a problem for you all.  A big thank you to each of you in Flexi Care Unit for the time and kindness you showed dad while he was with you in his final days. Thank you and as dad would say "thank you  and god bless'.
