Salary Packaging

Warrina Innisfail acknowledges that career development is linked to personal job satisfaction, workplace productivity, reward and recognition, and is critical to the achievement of continuous improvement in the quality of its services.  Through generous assistance schemes, staff are encouraged to undertake education and training activities related to their employment in order to improve their personal and professional development.

Flexible Working Conditions

Because we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we acknowledge the need for flexible working conditions to enable staff to achieve a balance between work, home and other interests.  ‘ As far as practicable, Warrina Innisfail works with individual staff members to adapt hours and patterns of work to suit their needs, and the needs of their families.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Staff are provided with the opportunity to seek confidential and independent assistance from qualified and experienced counsellors when faced with problems of a work or personal nature.  The Warrina Innisfail EAP is available to staff and their immediate family to help deal with personal problems that might adversely impact their work performance, health or well-being. The EAP provides opportunity for assessment, short-term counselling and referral services at no cost to staff.

Immunisation Program

Outbreaks of influenza of varying severity occur every year, usually between May and September.  It is estimated that up to 25% of healthcare workers contract influenza during any given season.  Warrina Innisfail provides staff with assessment, screening and vaccination against influenza and other specified infectious diseases as required.

Too many to thank

This is my third attempt to compliment ALL the staff of Hostel. My problem has been including the names of staff, there was a very long list and they were only the ones I have seen. To the Hostel staff my deepest thanks for the excellent, professional and kind care you have delivered to my husband.

Concert Fun

The concert held in the Nursing Home was very good. The maintenance men looked really good dancing. To the people that organised it, thank you for a good morning. From Nursing Home residents Frank Galipo and Bill Simmonds.
